Take
An industrial product is generally made of one or more materials. When designing the
product and analyzing the materials that are needed, we have to think about:

-
Reduction of product material.
-
Use higher strength materials which allow less material to be used in the life cycle.
-
Only reinforce areas that requires it and NOT the entire product.
-
Replacing the technique for biological materials, these materials after being used can be used for example to be composted or to create biogas.
-
The use of recycled material closes the life cycle of the material.
-
Disposal of toxic materials both during the life cycle and at the end of its useful life.
-
Eco-efficient materials that cause the least environmental impact.
-
The reduction of scarce materials that may cause risks in the supply or that the product is not sustainable in long term.
